Greetings! My name is Danin Drahos and this is my blogfolio. I am a native of the Gulf Coast and have spent the majority of my life living in Ocean Springs; however, I currently reside in Gautier. I have two children, ages 12 and 3, and am married to a wonderful and extremely gifted educator. I have aspired to be a teacher since elementary school but it was only recently that I finally pursued this due to my wife's inspiring support. My degree in Elementary Education has an English endorsement built in but I plan on also endorsing in Art with the intention of eventually teaching that subject. I am a professional photographer in my free time and have a strong passion for art and music. I feel that my instruction will be most effective if working with a creative subject matter.
The purpose of this blogfolio is to have a resource to use for incorporating technology into my classroom. It will be a database of information and activities that I can use once I begin teaching. Technology is very important and a great learning tool. Being able to educate with technological assistance will help me become a better teacher as well as help my students learn in a more modern and interesting way.
